What is IPL hair reduction?
Dr. Lavey uses the Palomar laser for hair removal. Invented in the 1990s, the Palomar Laser is FDA-approved for hair removal and is the laser that all other hair removal lasers are compared to.
In the treatment, Dr. Lavey sets the laser to certain wavelengths corresponding to the person’s hair color and thickness. Then the laser delivers very short bursts of energy down onto the hairs.
